Percussion Gun is a stripped bare audacious, with sharp snaps and tang. Soulful and powerful, coming from the amalgamation of expressive vocals and formidable drum beat, the song is anything but sedate. The chorus erupts with the smooth resonating vocals of singer Stephen Patterson, as for a second he loses himself in the music and drags you in too. Mid way the evocative piano breaks through and cuts at another nerve.

The percussions beat takes you down like a steam roller, but in a troubled way rushes around you like a freight train.
Its quick and bright, yet dark and troubled at the same time. And like all good things it’s over too fast and your left wanting more. A little bit Cold War Kids, a little bit The National, and a little bit The Boxer Rebellion but still defiantly different.
